I am a 33-year old dreamer with a passion for people, travelling, development and literature. I am also the mother of two boys, the wife of a wonderful man and the sales manager of a large European service company’s sales office in Asia. A quadro-lingual in love with words, poetry, quotes and anything that is beautifully written.
So very priviledged, yet I can not help feeling that things have not turned out the way I planned them. What am I doing here tied to this desk, producing powerpoints, attending boring meetings and preparing budgets when the world is waiting outside?! Material things were (honestly) never that important to me.
I know everything about dreaming from behind a desk. Now I need to find others who do the same and gather the strength and courage to do something more than just dream. Please join me!

Hi Jenny,
You are not alone..many people are leaving the corpoarte world of strucutre and are beginning to appreciate a life full of uncertainities. We are planning to do an ecovillage/tribe sustainable community in Brasil..www.guapuruvu.org.br ( click project – Ilha das couves to see helicopter tour). Perhaps someday you and your family could come and help?? http://www.workaway.info (Brasil ecovillage)..
Obrigado,

Hi! A Brasilian eco village sounds super interesting, will make sure to look it up. Thanks and keep in touch! Jenny
hi Jenny,
seems we share a love for sailboats, the sea and . . a certain northern city built in water. I did my post grad. studies in Amsterdam and it remains one of my favorite places around! Glad to have found my way to your blog, thank you for stopping over my place and for following. I really appreciate it!
Best of luck with your plans, I’ll be keeping an eye on this space!
Dora
Hi Dora and welcome to my little corner of the world wide web! I love Amsterdam too, biking all around the city in October with a friend only to stop for divine apple pie at a charming café along one of the canals is still one of my fondest travel memories. But Amsterdam is not my home. Good guess though
Thanks for the follow! /Jenny
Love the idea behind your blog and your posts are really interesting!
Welcome! I just realized I need to get out there and DO what I know that I want. This is my attempt to make sure I do it and not just talk about it…
/Jenny
Thanks Jenny…for being brave enough to admit that dreaming behind desks is not just a silly thing to do..it takes skill to be still and not let your inner vagabond take you outside the four walls.
From one dreamer to the other….the world is nicer knowing you are not alone….:o)
Hi Magdalene and thanks for stopping by! Dreaming behind desks is definitely not silly! All dream and no action wuold be silly though, still working on the action part, slowly.
It is difficult! Wonderful to know that I am not alone (very clearly not so as many people pass through the blog everyday, very encouraging to see that I am not alone!), look forward to following you! Jenny
